Hey there, I’m Megan
I’m a licensed clinical therapist in both Colorado and Idaho. I believe therapy is a deeply relational experience, and I strive to let connection and curiosity guide my work. Our humanity is expanded through our connections, and I would be honored to create connection with you and stand beside you as you navigate your journey ahead.
I aim to create a safe and collaborative space together, allowing for you to open and be vulnerable in exploring your shadows and challenging your painful parts. I apply a holistic approach to therapy, focusing on a person in their entirety and the interconnectedness of the mind and body. I hold the belief that we all carry innate wisdom and are moving towards wholeness and wellness. My role is to offer supportive and gentle guidance as you create movement along your path towards healing.
I am certified in psychedelic assisted therapy and have received my facilitator license for psilocybin therapy in Colorado. I will begin offering psilocybin administration sessions in May of this year. My role will be to prepare and empower you for your medicine session, create a safe and comfortable container for administration and grounded, knowledgeable support during your integration.
When not guiding people on their healing journeys, you can find me in the outdoors with my family. Perhaps I will be rock climbing, hiking or reading a good book in a sunshine filled meadow. I enjoy painting and knitting when time allows while raising a toddler. We live in a cabin in the woods near Lemon Reservoir in Durango and truly love the peace and quiet we have found.

My Journey
I received my graduate degree and training in therapy from Western Carolina University while living in Asheville, North Carolina. I have experience in various therapeutic settings, including wilderness therapy, adventure therapy, school counseling and within community mental health clinics. I am trained in Holotropic Breathwork, EMDR and Play Therapy, and often use an ecotherapy approach in outdoor therapy sessions, allowing for nature to be an integral part of the healing process. I have completed over 300 hours of adventure therapy facilitation through the use of therapeutic rock climbing, with the intention of receiving my CCAT (Certified Clinical Adventure Therapist) certification within the year. I have my Psychedelic Assisted Therapy certification from Naropa University and have received my facilitator license in the state of Colorado. I plan to open a Healing Center for Psilocybin Assisted Therapy once I have obtained all required licenses later this year in Durango, CO. I currently offer individual therapy for those in search of support during a challenging chapter in their life journey, as well as preparation and integration sessions for planned, healing journeys with plant medicines, with a focus on harm reduction.
