Hello there!

My name is Megan Allyn and I am a fully licensed psychotherapist with my own practice in both Colorado and Idaho. I wholeheartedly believe that every human wants to feel connected, to be a part of something and find meaning. I apply a holistic approach to therapy, focusing on a person in their entirety and the interconnectedness of the mind and body. I hold the belief that we all carry innate wisdom and are moving towards inner wellness. My role is to offer supportive guidance and stand beside you as you create movement along your path towards healing. I offer individual and family therapy for those in search of support during a challenging chapter in their life journey. I am currently working towards my Psychedelic Assisted Therapy certification at Naropa University.

I collaborate with my clients to create a client-centered process, integrating various therapeutic approaches. I work to build true and deep connection with each of my clients, utilizing experiential therapy and the outdoors whenever possible to create opportunities for insight and empowerment. I enjoy incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), IFS (parts work), EMDR, and Play Therapy in session.

I received my graduate degree and training in therapy from Western Carolina University and have experience as a wilderness therapist, school counselor, and in community mental health. I use my knowledge and experience to help my clients recognize unhealthy patterns in their lives and support them in creating real change, embracing their true selves, uncovering the courage to be vulnerable, and seeking self healing.
