Flow State

Therapeutic Rock Climbing Group

An eight week group, for womxn of all abilities and skill levels, who are drawn to adventure as a catalyst for change and transformation.

Facilitated by Lydia Missal, LCPC and Megan George, LCPC

You are invited to explore your body, emotions and mind through the movement and metaphor of rock-climbing, in a safe and supportive environment.

Throughout this eight week journey, we’ll explore how transformative tools such as mindfulness, flow state and resilience can support personal and community healing and integration through the experience of rock-climbing. Each week will focus on a different theme with journal exercises to support this theme and a rock climbing skill for anchoring it into the body.  Some of the themes covered are empowerment, strength, trust, risk taking and safety. Their purpose is to challenge self-limiting beliefs in order to create space for a new personal vision. This is a closed group and there will be a pre-screening process.
